Biblipedia Q&A
This page provides answers to some of the questions raised by Biblipedia users using the feedback form - if you have any feedback, please submit it and the Biblipedia webmonkeys will get onto it.
Export
"How do I export my notes?"
There are two ways to export your notes from Biblipedia. To export all the notes you've written to a word processing document, go to My Account, and, if you've written any notes in Biblipedia, you'll see a link allowing you to export all your notes.
The second way to export bibliographies and notes is to create lists; when you have a list of books, you can click on the 'export' link in the menu to create a word processing document (.rtf format).
Lists
"I'm having problems actually putting books into a list which I can go back to at a later date."
Biblipedia is designed to encourage you to write notes, synopses and reviews about books. When you write a note, you'll be asked to 'tag' it - i.e. provide some keywords for that note. Then, if you click on 'Lists' in the main menu, you can create a list, which will track all the notes you write under that 'tag' or keyword. So, Biblipedia allows you to create lists of books that relate to specific tags, but only by writing notes about those books...
We've designed Biblipedia this way because we think it'll be more useful to everybody, the more notes, reviews and synopses people write about books. If you think it should work differently, let us know
